Science Teacher Award Communicator of the Year Award
Scholarship Grants

Science Teacher Award:

The Coastal North Carolina Chapter of AFCEA offers Annual Science Teaching Tools Awards to deserving science teachers or programs in our Eastern North Carolina area.  This program is sponsored by the International AFCEA Educational Foundation to promote effective science teaching and to enhance the abilities of capable teachers in secondary schools nationwide.

To select this year’s winner(s), we’re asking for a simple proposal that addresses the teacher’s skills, potential to use the funds well, number of students, and financial need.  We have multiple awards of $1,000 to award this year.  In the past, these funds have been used to support the purchase of “consumable materials” to support experiments and programs in science education.

Proposal should be emailed to Mr Dan Egge at daniel.egge@usmc.mil or mailed to 201 S. Shore Dr. Jacksonville, NC 28540, no later than 11 Apr 2008.  If you have any questions, please call 910 451-8835.
